Travel Grants

The Society for Tropical Ecology provides travel grants of up to €300 to participants of our annual meetings. These grants are aimed to support participants in need of securing their travel cost. The society supports up to 20 students every year.

Eligibility

All candidates must:

Be enrolled students (BSc, MSc, PhD, or equivalents) at the time of application

Be registered to the conference

Be the first author of an accepted conference contribution (poster or talk)

Be personally attending the conference

Not have alternative sources of funding for the conference

Abstract

Conference acceptance letter

Short motivation letter (one page max)

Budget calculation

CV (two pages max)

Reference letter, preferably from your advisor (one page max)

Incomplete applications will not be considered
